Basic Bike Maintenance

Basic maintenance is easy to do yourself and will help prolong the life of your bike. Learn how to clean and lube a chain, fix a flat tire in record time, inspect and clean brakes and make other minor adjustments to your bike.

Cost: $20. Location: Gustavus Fire Hall

Sunday, April 8, 1-4 pm

Drivetrain and Brakes

Get your bike to shift and pedal more smoothly by learning how to make adjustments to your front and rear derailleurs and other components of your bike’s drive train. Learn how to prevent serious problems and make adjustments to any rim brake bike or disc brake bike.

Cost: $20. Location: Gustavus Fire Hall

Each class is limited to 10 people/bikes.  Registration fee includes lube, grease, use of specialized bike tools and individual help from master mechanic Ryan Rice of Sockeye Cycle.
